【摘要】：正Externalhumeralepicondylitis,alsotermed"tenniselbow",isacommondiseaseinorthopedicdepartment.Althoughitisnotadifficultdisease,bothwesternandChineseherbalmedicinesarenotveryeffective.TheauthorusedTuinaandmoxainthetreatmentof56casesfromJanuary2003toOctober2008withsatisfactoryresults.Thesummaryisasfollows.GENERALDATAAllof56casesofpatientsweresoldiersofpublicsecurityandfrontiertroops,including48maleand8female;theyoungestwas24yearsoldandtheoldest50;theshortestdurationofdiseasewas2monthandthelongest2years,ofwhich,28hadgotitforhalfayear,20fromhalfayeartooneyear,8formorethanoneyear;48intherightsideand8intheleftside.Themainclinicalmanifestationswerepaininthelateralaspectofelbowjointwithslowonsetandwithouthistoryofacuteinjury.Thepainmaybeinducedbyoverstrain,anditispersistentwithsensationofdullness,sorenessortiredness.Itmayrefertothelateralsideoftheforearm.Inseverecase,holdingforceisweakenedsoastocausemorepainwhentwistingtowel.Thisisoneofthecharacteristicsofthisdisease.Thereisnolocalredness,swellingandlimitationofjoint
